A few days ago, a lady came through my line at work with a bunch of compliant things
like almond milk and coconut flour. I said “it looks like you are doing a Whole 30.” She looked up at me and said “I am. You too? ” She was on day 3 of her first round. She was doing a round with her teen
age daughter. The woman had just spent 45 minutes trying to find a compliant salad dressing her daughter wouldn’t complain about and found nothing. She was frustrated and didn’t know what to do. I told her the store next door had compliant Tessamaes dressings but to make sure to read the labels because not all types are compliant. The woman was so excited to find something compliant for her daughter. I have feeling if I hadn’t been at work we would have talked for hours.
I haven’t bought a salad dressing in years and I really didn’t want to have to start just because I am doing a Whole 30. I started looking for compliant salad dressing recipes for common salad dressings on my first round. Here is what I found. The recipes don’t taste exactly like their store bought counterparts because they don’t have all kinds of garbage in them but I think they are good substitutions.

Nom nom paleo’s recipes are always awesome but I love the italian dressing best. I am going to try marinating some chicken in it.
