Harissa Paste (Whole 30)

I love recipes where you do little work but get a big payoff. This recipe, literally, takes all of 2 minutes to put together and can be used every where. You can mix it with mayo for a sauce or with oil to make a marinade. You can toss it with vegetables, make a salad dressing, you can use it as a rub on meat and a seasoning in other recipes. I am sure there are other things to use this for that I haven”t even thought of yet.

Next week I’ll have a couple recipes using Harissa paste for you so you might want to make a batch to get ready.

Harissa Paste

Adapted From The Air Fryer Revolution Cookbook

1/4 cup olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 TBS smoked paprika

1 1/2 tsp ground coriander

1 1/2 tsp ground cumin

1/2 tsp ground caraway

1/2 tsp koshet salt

1/4 – 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper

In a small bowl, combine all the ingredients. Microwave on high for 1 minute, stirring half way through. You can also cook this in the air fryer at 350 degrees for 5-6 minutes. It will keep in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a month.
